Wanted to design a magical girl based on traditional Filipino dress. I wanted to keep the original shape but without sacrificing practicality in combat so I changed the skirt into a tailcoat and I gave her a Sun motif in honor of the Filipino flag,
I designed her based on Joseon Scholars and I kept elements from the Korean Hanbok for her top.

Misc Character Concepts
In a group project in Character Design I worked with another person to create our own take on Wicked. I was mostly in charge of Elphaba's design.
As an homage to the original movie my partner and I took reference from lt 30's to erly 40's fashion.
Despite her sharp features I tried to give Elphaba a softer face to and round glasses so the audience remember that she was a young student at the beginning. I added the magenta purple as a way to connect her with Glinda and to prevent Elphaba's dress to being just an singe black mass.

I wanted to create a design that incapsulated Olaf's love for summer. I choose a snow cone for both the bright vivid colors and the summer memories it reminds me.
Continuing the snow cone idea I designed both a small illustration for use in merchandise and signage, as well as a possible food stand using unconventional but fun shapes
